What are the requirements to participate in Work-Based Learning?

In order to apply for the Work-Based Learning program, here are the requirements that you must meet:

Be at least 16 years old
MUST have taken at least ONE CTAE class (and be enrolled in the 2nd pathway class)
Having at least an Overall Grade Average of 80 or higher is preferred (75 minimum)
Maintain good attendance, including tardies (<=5 preferred, NOT more than 10)
Have good/no discipline records tardies(No OSS in previous/current school year)
Good work ethics record (Based on Teacher Recommendations)
Be on track for graduation
Be clear of any school debts.
Complete all Work-Based Learning application forms
Complete an interview with Work-Based Learning Coordinator
Have dependable transportation to/from job site/internship and have an official school parking permit
Attend mandatory student & parent/guardian meeting after being accepted into the program
